The Live Oak Eagles softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Northshore Panthers to 1 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Live Oak moves its record to 16-13 on the year. The Eagles host East Ascension (Gonzales, LA) to clash with the Spartans in a 5A District 5 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 17-12. East Ascension lost 13-1 in their recent league game against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA)

The Panthers now sport a 14-12 record. They play next when they host Covington for a 5A District 6 battle on Tuesday, April 2. Northshore will meet a Lions squad coming off a 14-13 league loss to Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Lions record now stands at 13-12.
