Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL), 14-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuscaloosa Academy for a 2A Area 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Sulligent will battle a Knights squad coming off a 24-10 non-league loss to Parker (Birmingham, AL). The Knights record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Marion County falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Lynn (Lynn, AL) to battle the Bears in a 1A Area 12 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 11-6. Lynn won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Addison (Addison, AL)
