The North Davidson Black Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Asheboro Blue Comets to 1 in the Black Knights league win on Tuesday.
The Black Knights now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. North Davidson will play a Falcons team coming off a 16-0 league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-10.
With the defeat, Asheboro drops to 4-10 on the year. The Blue comets host Wheatmore (Trinity, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 6-7. Wheatmore won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)
