The Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) baseball trounced the host Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Senators now own a 13-16 record. They take the field next when they host Grissom for a 7A Area 7 challenge on Thursday, April 3. Sparkman will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 17-8.

With the defeat, Austin drops to 7-18 on the year. The Black bears travel to Bob Jones (Madison, AL) to clash with the Patriots in a 7A Area 8 challenge on Friday, April 4. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 22-8. Bob Jones won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Buckhorn (New Market, AL)
