In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Eastside Ghosts baseball team scored a close 6-3 victory over the Paramus Spartans.
The Ghosts (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Comets enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Hackensack held off Clifton (Clifton, NJ), 13-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Dumont Huskies (Dumont, NJ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 2. Paramus will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ).
