The Forest Park Bruins baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Gar-Field Red Wolves to 0 in the Bruins league win on Tuesday.
The Bruins now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Osbourn Park for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Forest Park will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 27-0 league win over Unity Reed (Manassas, VA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Gar-Field drops to 0-5 on the year. The Red wolves host Justice (Falls Church, VA) to play the Wolves in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 2-5. Justice lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Annandale (Annandale, VA)
