The North Forrest Eagles (Hattiesburg, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Heidelberg Oilers (Heidelberg, MS), 17-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Olive for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. North Forrest will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 18-13 non-league loss to McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 2-7.
With the defeat, Heidelberg drops to 0-9 on the year. The Oilers travel to Collins (Collins, MS) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region 8 challenge on Friday, April 4. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 2-7.
