Texas High School Baseball - Seguin wallops Jefferson

The Seguin Matadors baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Jefferson Mustangs to 0 in the Matadors league win on Tuesday.

The Matadors now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Brackenridge for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, April 4. Seguin will play a Eagles team coming off a 1-0 league win over Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-11.

With the defeat, Jefferson drops to 9-11 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX) to play the Hurricanes in a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Friday, April 4. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 0-10. Sam Houston lost 13-0 in their recent league test against Highlands (San Antonio, TX)
