In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Needles Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Laughlin Cougars.

The Mustangs (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Lake Mead Christian Academy (Henderson, NV). The Eagles go into the 2A Southern game with a 7-0 record.

Next, the Cougars play the Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 4. Laughlin will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the game with a 5-2 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ).
