Texas High School Baseball - Merkel loses to Wall

The Merkel Badgers baseball squad (Merkel, TX), was overwhelmed 14-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Wall Hawks (Wall, TX)

With the triumph, Wall moves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Clyde (Clyde, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, April 4. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 12-5. Clyde won 6-0 in their recent league contest against Merkel (Merkel, TX)

The Badgers now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jim Ned for a 3A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, April 4. Merkel will confront a Indians squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX). The Indians record now stands at 15-3.
