The Spartans now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Catholic for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. Steward will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-6.

With the defeat, Norfolk Academy drops to 7-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA) to clash with the Saints in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Thursday, April 3. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy won 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA)
