The Pinecrest Patriots baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots to 1 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.
The Patriots now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Myers Park for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. Pinecrest will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-5.
With the defeat, Scotland drops to 8-5 on the year. The Fighting scots travel to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to play the Jaguars in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 8-4. Overhills won 25-0 in their recent league test against Westover (Fayetteville, NC)
