The Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Republic County Buffaloes to 2 in the Mustangs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Valley for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. Sylvan-Lucas will clash with a Rams team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Onaga (Onaga, KS). The Rams record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, Republic County drops to 1-5 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 2-2. Southeast of Saline won 10-4 in their recent non-league test against Halstead (Halstead, KS)
