The St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors topped the host Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Warriors face the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) in a Santa Fe game, on Thursday, April 3. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA).

The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their game against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen go into the Camino Real game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, St. Paul went down by St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
