The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the McKeel Academy Wildcats (Lakeland, FL) and the visiting Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL), witnessed McKeel Academy's flag football squad knock off Lake Region by a tally of 13-0.

The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against George Jenkins (Lakeland, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, George Jenkins gained a win over Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL), 31-8, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Thunder battle the Ridge Community Bolts (Davenport, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 8. Lake Region will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Bolts enter the contest with a 7-6 record after their 18-12 non-league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL).
