Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC), saw Oak Grove's soccer squad triumph over Asheboro by a count of 8-0.

The Grizzlies (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights enter the Mid-Piedmont 3A battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, North Davidson notched a victory over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 6-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Blue Comets battle the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A battle, on Wednesday, April 2. Asheboro will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 8-2 record after their 1-1 non-league Lexington (Lexington, NC).
