Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) and the visiting Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), saw Newton-Conover's soccer squad knock off Bandys by a count of 3-0.

The Red Devils (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears enter the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Bunker Hill by Maiden (Maiden, NC), 5-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A battle, on Friday, April 4. Bandys will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 0-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
