The Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA) soccer nipped the visiting Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Skyline for a Northwestern challenge on Friday, April 4. Sherando will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Clarke County moves to 0-5 on the year. The Eagles host Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to encounter the Falcons in a Bull Run challenge on Monday, April 7. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Central Woodstock won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Page County (Shenandoah, VA)
