Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Danville Hawks (Danville, AL) and the visiting Clements Colts (Athens, AL), saw Danville's soccer squad hold off Clements by a count of 1-0.

The Hawks (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Morgan (Trinity, AL). The Rebels enter the 4A Area 7 battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, West Morgan tipped Lawrence County (Moulton, AL), 10-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Colts confront the Elkmont Red Devils (Elkmont, AL) in a 1A-3A Area 8 battle, on Thursday, April 3. Clements will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 6-2 league loss to Madison Academy (Madison, AL).
