The Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA), 10-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Pirates now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wapsie Valley for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3.
With the loss, Columbus moves to 0-1 on the year. The Sailors travel to Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA) to encounter the Wolverines in a North Iowa Cedar League challenge on Monday, April 7. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
