Next, the Pirates face the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A game, on Thursday, April 3. Topsail will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 4-1 league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC).

The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their game against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats enter the Mideastern 3A/4A game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, New Hanover was overwhelmed by Laney (Wilmington, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
