In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Mt. Carmel Sundevils baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Escondido Cougars.
The Sundevils (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Westview (San Diego, CA). The Wolverines go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Westview was overwhelmed by Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA), 11-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cougars play the Escondido Charter Tigers (Escondido, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 2. Escondido will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 11-3 non-league loss to Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA).
