The Pueblo County Hornets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Falcon Falcons to 1 in the Hornets non-league win on Tuesday.

The Hornets now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Widefield for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Pueblo County will play a Gladiators team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Falcon drops to 3-2 on the year. The Falcons host Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Red-Tailed Hawks in a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the test with a record of 4-1. Cheyenne Mountain won 13-5 in their recent non-league test against Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO)
