The Pope Greyhounds baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Marist War Eagles to 4 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now hold a 20-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cartersville for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. Pope will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to North Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-5.

With the defeat, Marist drops to 4-2 on the year. The War eagles travel to Pope (Marietta, GA) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 20-2.
