In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Moriarty Pintos.
The Elks/Elkettes (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sundevils go into the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Espanola Valley was tipped by Robertson (Las Vegas, NM), 14-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pintos play the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 7. Moriarty will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the game with a 8-0 record after their 13-8 non-league win over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM).
