California High School Baseball - St. Anthony nips St. Bernard

The St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) baseball got by the visiting St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), 7-6 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Saints now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Bernard for a challenge on Friday, April 4. St. Anthony will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 21-4 non-league win over North (Torrance, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-3.

With the defeat, St. Bernard drops to 7-3 on the year. The Vikings host North (Torrance, CA) to play the Saxons in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Saxons go into the test with a record of 3-10. North lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA)
