The Hayfield Hawks lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Annandale Atoms to 2 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology for a National challenge on Thursday, April 3. Hayfield will clash with a Colonials squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Annandale falls to 1-3 on the year. The Atoms travel to Justice (Falls Church, VA) to clash with the Wolves in a National challenge on Thursday, April 3. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Justice lost 10-7 in their recent league challenge against Edison (Alexandria, VA)
