Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) and the visiting Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA), saw Northwest Christian School's soccer squad triumph over Newport by a count of 8-2.

The Crusaders (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Lakeside tipped Colville (Colville, WA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Grizzlies battle the Riverside Rams (Chattaroy, WA) in a 1A Northeast battle, on Thursday, April 3. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA).
