In Tuesday's league test, the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC), by a tally of 13-2.
Next, the Titans clash with the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) in a The Mountain 3A/4A test, on Friday, April 4. McDowell will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 2-8 record after their 17-6 non-league win over North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
The Rockets (4-8) will now prepare for their test against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks go into the The Mountain 3A/4A test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, North Buncombe was routed by Erwin (Asheville, NC), 3-2, in a league test.
