In Tuesday's league test, the Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Westside Rebels (Coal Hill, AR), by a count of 16-0.
Next, the Tigers meet the Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR) in a 2A Region 4 test, on Friday, April 4. Acorn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Little Johns go into the test with a 0-9 record after their 20-2 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Conway, AR).
The Rebels (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Dover (Dover, AR). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Dover was routed by Glen Rose (Malvern, AR), 4-3, in a league test.
