Next, the Timberwolves meet the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge, on Friday, April 4. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 6-2 non-league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC).

The Blue Comets (3-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies go into the Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Oak Grove toppled Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 4-0, in a league challenge.
