The Carthage Bulldogs softball team scored 31 runs and held the host Kilgore Bulldogs to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Hill for a 4A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, April 4. Carthage will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-10 league loss to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, Kilgore moves to 3-15 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, April 4. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 1-14. Chapel Hill lost 17-0 in their recent league battle against Pine Tree (Longview, TX)
