In Tuesday's league test, the Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clarendon Lions (Clarendon, AR), by a tally of 34-3.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Bradford Eagles (Bradford, AR) in a 1A Region 6 test, on Thursday, April 3. Midland will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 3-4 record after their 17-0 league win over Augusta (Augusta, AR).

The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Brinkley (Brinkley, AR). The Tigers go into the 1A Region 6 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Brinkley was routed by Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR), 18-3, in a non-league test.
