The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the College Station Cougars (College Station, TX) and the visiting Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX), observed College Station's softball team get by Montgomery by a tally of 4-1.

The Cougars (18-7) will now prepare for their bout against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 11-12 record. In their last bout, Huntsville was routed by Lake Creek (Montgomery, TX), 14-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) in a bout, on Friday, April 4. Montgomery will attempt to advance on its 13-10 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to College Station (College Station, TX).
