The Hermitage Hermits softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Columbia Christian Crusaders to 7 in the Hermits league win on Tuesday.

The Hermits now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradley for a 1A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, April 8.

With the loss, Columbia Christian moves to 5-5 on the season. The Crusaders host Lafayette County (Stamps, AR) to confront the Cougars in a 1A Region 8 battle on Thursday, April 3. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 1-5. Lafayette County lost 15-0 in their recent league battle against Taylor (Taylor, AR)
