The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) and the visiting Concord Pirates (Concord, AR), observed West Side's softball team get by Concord by a tally of 3-2.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Shirley (Shirley, AR). The Blue Devils go into the 1A Region 2 bout with a 2-9 record. In their last bout, Shirley was nipped by Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR), 16-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 3. Concord will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Viola (Viola, AR).
