The Seguin Cougars softball team scored 22 runs and held the visiting Everman Bulldogs to 5 in the Cougars league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Friday, April 4. Seguin will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 15-0 league win over Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Everman moves to 2-16 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX) to encounter the Wolves in a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Friday, April 4. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 4-5. Mansfield Timberview lost 21-1 in their recent league battle against Burleson (Burleson, TX)
