In Tuesday's league test, the Floydada Whirlwinds (Floydada, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Quanah Indians (Quanah, TX), by a tally of 19-0.
Next, the Whirlwinds clash with the Memphis Cyclones (Memphis, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 test, on Tuesday, April 8. Floydada will attempt to advance on its 19-5 season record.
The Indians (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Clarendon (Clarendon, TX). The Broncos go into the 2A Region I District 2 test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Clarendon prevailed over Highland Park (Amarillo, TX), 22-0, in a non-league test.
