The Piedmont Panthers triumphed over the visiting Forest Hills Yellow Jackets softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge, on Thursday, April 3. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).

The Yellow Jackets (1-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Concord was routed by East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 8-0, in a league challenge.
