The Gallatin County Wildcats softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Owen County Rebels to 4 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trimble County for a District 31 battle on Wednesday, April 2. Gallatin County will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Owen County moves to 4-2 on the season. The Rebels host Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY) to encounter the Rockets in a non-league battle on Friday, April 4. The Rockets come into the battle with a record of 0-6. Shelby County lost 22-8 in their recent non-league battle against Trimble County (Bedford, KY)
