In Tuesday's league match, the host Starks Panthers softball team scored a tight 3-1 win over the Hackberry Mustangs.
The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Lions come into the non-league match with a 10-9 record. In their last match, Lafayette by Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA), 16-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA) in a C District 4 match, on Thursday, April 3. Hackberry will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Tarpons come into the match with a 4-8 record after their 15-5 league loss to Singer (Singer, LA).
