The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID) and the host Hillcrest Knights (Idaho Falls, ID), observed Shelley's softball team get by Hillcrest by a tally of 12-7.

The Russets (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Preston (Preston, ID). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, Preston tipped Snake River (Blackfoot, ID), 19-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Highland Rams (Pocatello, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 4. Hillcrest will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Pocatello (Pocatello, ID).
