In Tuesday's league test, the West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Houlka Wildcats (Houlka, MS), by a tally of 17-2.

Next, the Panthers meet the West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) in a 1A Region 4 test, on Friday, April 4. West Lowndes will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 9-8 record after their 9-4 league win over Vardaman (Vardaman, MS).

The Wildcats (0-14) will now prepare for their test against Smithville (Smithville, MS). The Seminoles go into the 1A Region 4 test with a 8-8 record.
