In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Wayne County Wildcats softball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Hughes Lions.

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Hardin County (Savannah, TN). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Hardin County notched a victory over Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN), 27-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 7. Hughes will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 8-2 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Owensboro (Owensboro, KY).
