The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Powell Panthers (Powell, TN) and the host Karns Beavers (Knoxville, TN), observed Powell's softball team get by Karns by a tally of 13-6.

The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN). The Bobcats go into the 4A District 3 bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Knoxville Central tipped Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN), 11-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Beavers clash with the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 2. Karns will attempt to advance on its 13-4 season record. The Lemont HS go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 19-1 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL).
