The Lafayette County Cougars softball squad (Stamps, AR), was routed 15-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Taylor Tigers (Taylor, AR)
With the triumph, Taylor improves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Junction City (Junction City, AR) to face the Dragons in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 5. The Dragons enter the contest with a record of 4-9.
The Cougars now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia Christian for a 1A Region 8 contest on Thursday, April 3. Lafayette County will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 17-7 league loss to Hermitage (Hermitage, AR). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-5.
