The Stanton Buffaloes softball squad (Stanton, TX), was routed 12-1 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX)

With the triumph, Lamesa improves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Tornadoes host Coahoma (Coahoma, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region I District 3 contest on Saturday, April 5. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 20-0. Coahoma won 25-1 in their recent league contest against Stanton (Stanton, TX)

The Buffaloes now hold a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Brownfield for a 3A Region I District 3 contest on Saturday, April 5. Stanton will face a Cubs squad coming off a 23-4 league win over Crane (Crane, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 8-11.
