California High School Softball - McClatchy bounces West Park

April 1, 2025: Sacramento, CA 95818

In Tuesday's league match, the host McClatchy Lions softball team scored a tight 8-1 win over the West Park Panthers.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Kennedy (Sacramento, CA). The Cougars come into the Metropolitan Conference match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Kennedy was routed by Cordova (Rancho Cordova, CA), 9-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Antelope Titans (Antelope, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference match, on Thursday, April 3. West Park will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 22-1 league win over Grant (Sacramento, CA).
