The Mena Bearcats softball squad scored 15 runs and limited the host Waldron Bulldogs to 0 in the Bearcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Mena improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Bearcats host Malvern (Malvern, AR) to play the Leopards in a non-league game on Thursday, April 3. The Leopards enter the game with a record of 9-4. Malvern won 15-0 in their recent league game against Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR)

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Clarksville for a 4A Region 4 game on Friday, April 4.
