In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Tri-Village Patriots softball team scored a tight 6-1 win over the Northmont Thunderbolts.

The Patriots (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH). The Blackhawks come into the Western Ohio Athletic match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Mississinawa Valley nipped Fairlawn (Sidney, OH), 8-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts confront the Waynesville Spartans (Waynesville, OH) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 3. Northmont will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 18-12 league win over Brookville (Brookville, OH).
